Meredith Wicklund, M.D.

Biography

Dr. Wicklund is a Co-Investigator for the ADRC. She is also an assistant professor in the department of neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed a B.S. in Microbiology, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She obtained her M.D. from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, where she graduated With Honors. Dr. Wicklund completed her internship at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and then residency in Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Following residency, she pursued fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Dr. Wicklund’s clinical practice is devoted to providing the highest level of neurologic care to a wide variety of neurologic disorders. She has a special interest in autoimmune, paraneoplastic and degenerative neurologic disorders and traumatic brain injury. Her research interests include developing a database and clinical trials in Alzheimer’s disease and other cognitive and degenerative brain conditions. Dr. Wicklund has made several presentations and been invited to speak at national and international meetings.
